Hey Prayer Warriors! Praise the Lord, we have an UPDATE for you:) Its nothing we were hoping to tell yall BUT... we will not stop trusting and believing that the Lord will see this through. (Hes already walked us through the impossible, after all.) Jayd has been diagnosed with A.L.L. (acute lymphoblastic leukemia). Leukemia... I know ---- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! But guess what? Were a day in to this new diagnosis and already the Lord has outdone Himself to assure us that He has gone before us and cleared the way. People have offered their homes, food, cars, money, love, prayers--- (even before they knew exactly what was going on) --- How can we not trust that our God is here, moving, and readily providing our every need? The doctors are looking further into Jayds previous diagnosis that fell in to the sarcoma category. This new diagnosis is, obviously, a type of blood cancer. Its extremely rare that anyone would suffer from two (seemingly unrelated) cancers back to back. There is work being done to determine whether or not Jayd has had A.L.L. all along... not that it changes much.. but his case/situation has definitely thrown all the doctors here for a loop and they are trying their best to understand whats going on. Jayd and I are basically waiting on the big finale on Gods part because, cmon... what are the chances of this whole deal? SERIOUSLY. lol. The plan is this: were going to cozy up right here in the hospital for the next month as Jayd tackles the induction phase of treatment. In fact, theyre administering his first chemo tonight. Obviously thats our immediate prayer need--- strength, resilience, determination.... and strength........... and determination......... :) I have been in tears the last few days thanks to all of the love and encouragement you guys have absolutely LAVISHED over Jayd and I. Of course we would LOVE to have your continued prayers and support as we hunker down and face the giant one more time. The Lord has blessed us enormously through each of you. Our appreciation goes beyond words. ~J&J
