Hey REGROUPERS... I am going to be a radio star next week, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. AND, more importantly, I am going to be talking about YOU, the REGROUPERS of this wonderful FB page. Recently, I was honored to receive a call from Harriet Lerman, a fellow REGROUPER and long-standing and well-respected Democrat in Palm Beach County. Harriet Lerman is the Director of this on line radio show entitled VOICE OF THE PEOPLE, located at WEInetwork. Harriet asked me to be a guest on her show to talk about grass-roots activism and the value of social networking to organize and win elections etc. I am thrilled to be on VOICE OF THE PEOPLE for the first time as I know many polar stars of the local, state and federal Democratic political world, have previously appeared on VOICE OF THE PEOPLE. So log in this Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. because I am going to pump you up. (SNL skit). And yes, the First Lady was wonderful as we chatted about Honolulu ... a thrill second only to my subsequent conversation a few months later at FAU with her husband. I spoke with President Barack Hussein Obama about Honolulu and our favorite leis and lei shop in Honolulu and our mutual love for Hawaii... all of which ended with POTUS giving me the most wonderful Aloha kiss on the left cheek of my face. Totally true story and witnessed by thousands of screaming fans who were too entranced to take a photo. Disclaimer: Upon receiving this April 2012 photo with the First Lady, I have been slimming down ever since.
