Hey Senyo, There was a lot I wanted to say yesterday morning, but - TopicsExpress

Hey Senyo, There was a lot I wanted to say yesterday morning, but the emotions I had running through my heart and soul just didn’t let any words come out no matter how hard I tried. I don’t know where to begin so I’ll start from the very beginning. I was a 15 year old kid that had nothing going for him, terrible attitude, poor mindset, no belief, no values, and physically out of shape as well. For a kid that wasn’t given any chances by any person in Quebec, you took a hopeless Arman and made him into an acceptable human being and cricketer. From the moment, I stepped into Cricket Montreal with your presence, I knew I was in the right place. Over the years, we’ve had our Ups and downs but we always came back together, stronger than before. From every part of my soul, I can’t thank you enough for helping me become the individual I am today. From my mindset, to my attitude, to my personality, to my abilities as a cricketer. Every aspect of who I am has been developed solely because of what I’ve learnt through yourself and cricket. I wouldn’t be a quarter of the person I am today, if it wasn’t for you. I’ve told you this before, but I’ll say it again. You’ve been the most influential figure in my life and I will forever be in debt for the way you’ve impacted my life. I cannot ever, be thankful enough for what you’ve done for me. Your gesture this morning, by coming to my house and trying to get my dad to understand of what we’ve gone through to get to this stage was truly touching. The tears in your eyes laid out the whole story. I am deeply sorry if I’ve ever hurt you, or if these past few years of coaching me feel wasted. But with Cricket Montreal, you gave hope to a huge number of kids to aspire to become young cricketers. You gave kids a dream to work towards. For the first time in Quebec’s history, teenagers started to believe that they can too become cricketers one day. You passed on invaluable life lessons and gave guidance to misled kids over the years. You’ve touched lives of kids, parents, people who’ve stopped playing cricket for years and then come back here, people who’ve never played before and now are completely in love with the game. Your impact on Quebec cricket will be felt forever, and the memories you gave to everyone associated over the years are going to be priceless. As for me, cricket is part of my soul and I will definitely be trying to go as far as I can with it. And even if I don’t go anywhere with it, Cricket has absolutely changed my life and being able to be part of historic events such as the College Tournaments and coaching kids has all been some wonderful experiences. Again, I can’t thank you enough for the guidance, coaching, sacrifices and all life changing lessons you’ve passed on to me. You will always be an older brother I look up to. Thank You Senyo
