Hey! Why wasnt I ever informed that there was a GOOD movie adapted from an HP Lovecraft story? Its called Die, Monster, Die! and its creepy as hell. Its an adaptation of The Colour Out of Space which does admittedly take a lot of liberties with tweaking Lovecrafts original story, but it overall just NAILS that very specific sort of fear which makes Lovecrafts work so special. Its got some special effects which are surprisingly good by 1965 standards, and it even stars Boris Karloff! This movie deserves to be seen, but Ive NEVER heard ANYONE talk about it.
