Hey Zane! I Cant Believe That You Replied To My Email Last Year! Wow! I Feel So Special! I Look Forward To Seeing Addicted With My Fiancé In October. I Already Told Him That We Are Going Opening Night. No Ifs, Ands, Or Buts. Well, I Asked Yall For Advice Back In September On How To Induce Labor. I Was Overdue With My Daughter At The Time. Nothing I Tried Worked; However, She Did Come On Her Time. I Didnt Get A C-section And No Epidural. She Was Born On October 1, 2013 And Her Name Is Ayanna Isis. Her First Birthday Is Coming Already. I Am Now 23 Years Old. I Graduated From College This Past December And I Got A Great Paying Job With Amazing Benefits. I Moved Out Of My Mamas House And Got My Own Apartment. My Daughters Father And I Got Engaged, But I Called It Off At One Point Because We Just Couldnt Get Along. We Were Always Bickering For Everything. We Are Doing Great Now, But The Wedding, Which Was Set For January Has To Be Rescheduled Because I Just Found Out That Im Pregnant Again. Im Not Getting Married As A Fat/Pregnant Bride. Im About 8 Weeks And It Wasnt Planned. As A Matter Of Fact, My Daughter Wasnt Planned Either. After Her Birth, I Had An IUD Placed Because I Didnt Want To Get Pregnant Again Anytime Soon. My Daughter Isnt Even 1 And Im Pregnant Again. Im Not Really Happy About Being Pregnant Again. I Just Loss All Of My Baby Fat And Im Going To Get Fat All Over Again. I Didnt Even Tell My Job Yet Even Though Its So Obvious That Im Pregnant. Morning Sickness Has Been Kicking My Butt. I Know That This Baby Is A Boy. I Just Know It Is. Thats Pretty Much My Life Right Now. Anyway, I Need Some Advice About My Daughter. She Has This Bad Habit Of Pulling Her Hair Out. Her Pediatrician Told Me Not To Put Beads In Her Hair Because He Believes That The Beads Are Irritating Her. I Wash Her Hair Every Week And I Usually Do It In Cute Styles With Beads. Since She Likes Pulling Her Hair Out, I Stopped Putting Beads, But She Still Likes To Pull Her Hair Out So I Dont Think Its From The Beads. Her Long Hair Is Shrinking And Shed Rather Have Her Hair Looking Like Blue Ivys Hair. She Doesnt Like Her Hair To Be Clean And Pretty. Im Not Going To Let Her Hair Be Matted Up And Unkempt So What Should I Do? Also, My Fiancé Wants Her Off The Pacifier, But Im Not Going To Be Up All Night While She Cries For It. How Do I Wean Her Off Of It? He Thinks That Shes Too Old For A Pacifier, But Shes Still A Baby, Almost 10 Months Old. MY RESPONSE: Beads are not safe on a 10-month-old baby, evidenced by the fact that she pulls at them. That is a serious choking hazard but since you said you have stopped using them, that is a good thing. Brush her hair down and let her wear soft caps on her head to keep it tame, similar to women wrapping their hair at night to keep the style together, or men wearing wave caps to keep their hair tame. As for pacifiers, we only went through that drama with my oldest son. After having to always have one on hand, and even making runs to 7-Eleven in the middle of the night, it was a wrap for me. I would take it and she will get used to it not being around very quickly. Good luck and congrats on the new, unexpected bundle.
