Hey all! Heads-up, the AQA (thats the Australian Quidditch Association, for the newbies) is having a Special General Meeting tonight to elect three new directors. This is because theyve recently switched to a new leadership model where, rather than having a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer, they just have a board of seven directors (some with specific portfolios, some without). As your Team Representative, Ill be voting on behalf of all of you. There are three people running: - Arfy Thorn (officially of UWS, unofficially of the Weasleys; also the creator of wheelchair quidditch) - James Hosford (of Newcastle; also current Gameplay director for the AQA) - Maria Wizbicki (of Macquarie; also current Media director of the AQA) I think theyre all eminently qualified and will be excellent, and as there are only three people nominated for three positions, Im planning to vote for all of them. HOWEVER, if anyone has any serious concerns about any of the nominees, please let me know before 7pm tonight.
