Hey all, I have a few nooby questions to ask. I am going to swap an OBD1 ABA into my Mk2. Its a 92, so its already CE2. This is my first swap. Ive done some research and it seems like I wont need anything more than what the donor car will give me. I plan on a turbo setup with a power goal of 250whp. However, that will come once the swap is done and running well. I want to focus all of my energy and funds to getting the swap done. I have a 95 Golf as a donor car. I also plan on using an O2A from a G60 once there is enough power to surpass the capabilities of the stock trans. Basically, what Im trying to get is for people who have done ABA swaps to chime in about what to expect, and for ABA Turbo guys to give me pointers on setups that will get me where I want to be. Any feedback is helpful. I understand this same topic has been posted on Vortex and other threads, but the information is vague and I would like to hear from personal experience. Thank you.
