Hey all, I just want to say thank you very much for the support this weekend. Weve been seeing some record crowds at my gigs and I want to express my appreciation. Sams Burger Joint Music Hall had twice what was expected for such a cold, icy night. The San Antonio, Texas folks came out and rocked despite the slippery roads. We had a good time even if the show had to be cut a bit short to get folks home. Well be back soon because of such a great crowd. Dosey Doe, Inc. in Conroe, Texas represented with a SOLD OUT crowd. My voice had taken a turn for the worse that night, out of nowhere i might add and just hours before the show, but you fine people made me feel like you were getting the show you wanted and that means a lot. It devastates my psyche if I think the show is a fraction under 100% so Ill come back to Conroe with a vengeance soon. By Saturday, and my first show at The Liberty Bell, my mouth would move but no noise would come out. What started out as a two week bout with Cedar Fever turned into Laryngitis a assume. This is a rough feeling for a singer/screamer and the feeling got rougher when I found out that I had to cancel what was going to be another SOLD OUT show. We have rescheduled and I look forward to making it up to the Nacogdoches, Texas folks. ANYWAY, reading back this sounds like a bunch of humble bragging, and maybe it is, but the intent is to say thank you very much for the record support Alissa, Jon Paul and I are receiving at the gigs lately. The appreciation from the fans, the nod of approval, the spreading of the word and the new converts make the whole thing fun and worth it. It breathes new life into us and so I thank you for digging my dark, obnoxious and ugly music.
