Hey all! I shot this yesterday with my Tamron 90mm macro lens. I am very pleased with the image...but I find that I shoot 10 macro images and maybe 1 or 2 will nail the focus. I know from experience that tripods are the way to go when shooting macro, but it just wasnt something I wanted to carry on my brisk walk in the heat. Thoughts on macro shots? Handheld? Tripod? Lens preference? Any other suggestions for capturing that stellar shot? Post some samples of your macro shots and tell us about them!
