Hey all! Just wanted to deliver some updates post-gencon and provide some direction for the future of this page. I want to preface it by saying, and reminding everyone, that Joey and I worked on the game, continue to work on things for Panini through our contract, and can get many questions answered through our connections at the company -- but are NOT salaried Panini employees. We will serve you guys and promote the game we love to the best of our ability, but there will be some things we cant help you with. That being said, heres some consolidated info for you: Release Date -- We have heard ranges from several distributors, and it looks like the game will hit between 9/10 and 9/20. Remember, it is still up to the distributors to insure timely shipping to your local store. Distribution -- Panini cannot sell cards (sealed product, singles) directly to customers. All products will be available from distributors for your local stores to order. Some distributors even have product for presale now. So far we have confirmed: GTS, Southern Hobby, and Aladdin Distribution. Popular websites ToyWiz and Potomac Distribution are also taking preorders of the game. We will update the list as more distributors get on board. Please encourage your local stores to use the distributors that have the game! We will also be in mass market stores later this year. I cant confirm which stores (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) will carry the game, but look for this after the regular release. Tournament Kits/Support -- Panini WILL have tournament kits available after the launch of the game. Once we have more details on how stores can buy them, I will update you immediately. Organized Play -- Nothing Panini supported yet, but I made some great connections at Gencon with shop owners from around the country where we can plan regionals. The best way to get OP in your area is to drive the game in a big way. The more attendees that you can line up, the more likely someone like me will be to invest some money into an event! Old Cards -- Old cards will NOT be legal in any Panini event. There will more than likely be exceptions for reprints, those details are being finalized. Sealed Decks -- Sealed decks will come with 1 random Personality/Mastery pairing, and 1 random 60 card deck (of 2 different decks). The same personality and mastery will always be together (i.e., Krillin & Black mastery) but you can get either of the 2 60 card decks. This will keep sealed a really balanced and fun environment. This being said Id like the page to transition more to a focus of ruling questions, gameplay questions, and most importantly, YOU guys and gals posting photos of demos, events, and tournaments. You are what will make this game successful and we want you to be a part of the excitement. So submit your photos here!
