Hey all. My staffie Laika is a great dog and comes everywhere with me. I have 2 horses and she happily comes to the stables, walks alongside the horses when Im leading them and wanders in and out of their stables with no fear. However when I try taking her on a ride with me her behaviour completely changes - she refuses to walk with me when Im on my horse, acts fearful and threatens to turn and run back to the yard. Its driving me mad as shes not a fearful dog normally and I wanted a dog that I could take with me on hacks. Everything about her is great apart from this behaviour and it stresses me out knowing I cant have a nice ride with both her and my horse. Any suggestions?
