If you are just finding out about Smart Meters and are wondering what this movement is about, I can tell you for me personally, even putting the devastating ill health effects these meters cause and the fact that theres an electro-pollution spy device on my house (until I had it removed), I simply want the CHOICE whether or not a new technology (this is not a meter) can be installed on MY house without my consent. Thats it. No conspiracy theory. No bucking the system. No trying to convince you this was effecting my health. I just want CHOICE. Last time I checked, this was America, right? (Lemme break this down for yall) 1. DTE has no lawful authority to install a transmitting device on my home, a METER yes, but this device NO. There is a specific statute in the law that clearly defines what a METER is and a SMART METER is not what this law states. What the MPSC signed off on and what I entered into a contract with DTE is not what a Smart Meter is. Period. 2. DTE broke a contract of adherence. They are broke my contract. Period. 3. DTE violated my Fourth Amendment rights. Period. 4. DTE is a PRIVATE corporation and has no RIGHT to do what they did - they broke the law. PERIOD.
