Hey all, i would like to start this post by apologizing for the events that transpired yesterday and to let everyone know that i am going to take a step back from being a leader in our FAMILY. WE ARE FAMILY all started as a group of us came together to help Chris and Nicole through a very difficult time. The love and compassion that I saw was something you rarely see these days. But what I saw was a group of individuals coming together to support someone in need. I decided that day to establish WE ARE FAMILY as a group that could help others in any walk of life not just motorcycle enthusiasts. Due to the incident from yesterday evenings BACK OFF ride and because I do not want to tarnish our FAMILYs image and reputation, I am going to voluntarily take a step back from being a voice in this group. For those of you who do not know what transpired yesterday I will explain it as best as I can . Myself and Nicole worked on this event for well over 7 weeks donating our time and basically running our asses off to make this event a success. I designed shirts along with coming up with the name aling with the meaning behind the name BACK OFF. A few individuals in the group we were trying to help, were less than gracious and basically had issues with sport bikes. An agreement was reached so that anyone who attended the Milito ride would receive a red ticket so that they would only have to pay half of the registration fee for BACK OFF. Nicole busted her ass trying to give anyone who was riding originally in the Milito ride a ticket for the discount the BACK OFF ride. Unfortunately, she forgot one person so she gave him the red ticket at the event itself. Germaine assumed that Nicole was trying to scam thier BACK OFF rides party so she interrupted Nicole as she was eating and demanded to know where the red tickets were. She basically accused Nicole and our family of trying to scam BACK OFF. Nicole came to me upset saying she was planning on leaving the party because of what germaine did. So I approached Germaine and wanted to know why she was acting like this thinking we were trying to scam them . Germaine exploded on me thinking we were taking money out of their pockets. I defended myself and Nicole and thats when Germaine called security(who i supplied btw, Big John is a very close friend of mine and was working the party as a favor to me) demanding I be removed. At that point yes I did get upset angry and called Germaine a few names which I regret. By that time, I was approached by Rob the leader of BACK OFF who said would be better if i just left. Apparently Germaine has strong connections with a very large MC in our area, so rather than cause a big incident at a benefit I chose to leave not because I was scared but because I did not want to damage all the good that has been done that day. It was apparent throughout the day that a few of thier Germaine and Todd specifically, viewed us and our sportbikes as nothing more than money in their pocket. Regardless, due to everything that transpired yesterday in the way I reacted sticking up for Nicole I think it would be better, if I just took a step back and follow the group without being a voice. I am doing this for the benefit of our family. I dont want something that started out being so good to become something that people dont want to be involved with. I will be around but just not active. I love all of you and i hope you continue to do great things! WE ARE FAMILY because NOT FAMILIES ARE MADE OF BLOOD THO ID GLADLY SHED MINE FOR THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
