Hey #brickheads your friendly neighborhood #AlphaNerd here, Mikey B (hold your applause please). With my #Lego addiction in full swing Ive been having a hoot (pardon my salty language) creating my very own vehicles for The #Simpsons, #Batman, #thelegomovie #starwars and (my comic book man crush) #Deadpool. Ive been hesitant to share them because Im sick of being on computers, phones, social media. Blah. Keyboards. Monitors. Buzzing noises. Were turning into unwired cyborgs, and I want to hear the chirps of real birds... less Angry Birds. Sigh. Oh well. Stuck in the #Matrix. Are you still awake? Then youve earned a smile! BEHOLD! The car built for the modern Lego family... The #Homer 2.Doh Redux! This is actually the 2nd version of my design. My Lego designs are restricted to bricks I have available to me; while I would like to use 2 shades of green instead of 5, my dusty wallet dictates the limitations. No matter! Just another step towards the next evolution of this Herb Powell Motors masterpiece of American automotive quality and ingenuity! As if the VERY SPIRIT of Homers original design flowed from my fingertips. Praise Jebus! Clap your hands! Testify! As I slowly collect more green bricks (who knew they would be so difficult to find? Not me!) and slightly larger rear bubble dome (so #Bartsimpson can squeeze his giant spiked coif inside) Ill proudly share each step along the way. Why? Its frickin #FUN thats why! Also, I need a soundchip that will play La Cucaracha. Or a very very tiny novelty horn. Open to suggestions. And I need a tiny license plate... and a The Homer decal... I would do these things myself, but alas, Gawd almighty hates to see me experience joy or comfort, and thus struck down my computer with vengeance and furious anger to rob me of the ability to do ANYTHING artistic and/or electronic. Rightfully so. Im Roman Catholic, and as such, born pure evil and deserve a spiritual kick to the balls. Everyday. For 39 years. With steel toed boots. I could really go for a Duff beer. Cheers!
