Hey everybody, I was casually doing laundry last night when I got this lovely note. And, since I dont know who left it, I am going to write my reply on here. There are multiple things wrong with this note, but I am only going to call upon two. One: I will admit, I was an hour late getting my laundry (because my mother surprised me by coming up here and taking me out for dinner, thank you very much), but I was using ONE of the washers. There are EIGHT washers in this building, you could have looked for another one and simply used that one. Also, I would like to point out that any time I was down there all day, I was the only one using ANY of the machines on south. Two: If you REALLY wanted that particular machine, for whatever reason, you could have taken my sheets out and set them on the counter which is located directly behind said washer. How about we all just grow up a little bit and do some problem solving. That note didnt get that washer free any quicker, did it? Now, taking my sheets out would have. I know, I know, you wouldnt get to be so passive-aggressive about the situation, but it would have gotten the job done. The time it took for you to go back to your room, type up that deliciously-phrased note, and print it off could have been invested in a much better fashion. All-in-all, I do apologize for leaving my laundry in there an extra hour, but can we just be a little bit more mature about everything? Also, if you noticed, this entire rant did not insult whoever wrote this note. Which means, yes, a person CAN get their point across to another person without being rude and intentionally degrading.
