Hey everybody, Im back with another syllabus request: Im thinking - TopicsExpress

Hey everybody, Im back with another syllabus request: Im thinking of putting together a course on The Radical Liberal South--a kind of hard-edged liberal collection of southern works from the 19th c. to the present. Im hoping for enough works that are pretty explicit in their politics rather than ones where you really have to dig. Obvious works would be Delanys _Blake_, Frederick Douglass, Charles Chesnutt, Myra Pages proletariat novels from the 1930s. But if you were thinking about this course, what would you put in it? What Reconstruction works? What civil rights novels? What post-Civil Rights work? Any Appalachian works? What contemporary works? Thanks in advance!
