Hey everybody. Late check in 2 let u know we are all home tucked in safely. I am so grateful for the enormous outpouring of love, support, prayers and healing energy that all of u have shown in the last few days. Super special thanks 2 Bryanne Ernest, Meghan Sample, Carol Hill Mcclard, Jamie Penrod Richardson, Jerry W Johnson, Mike and Chandrea for ur help in our crisis! Love u all. Thanks 2 all of the knowledable and caring staff at Barnes Jewish neorology unit. One special nurse at PBRMC, Sandra with the Scotish accent on the 6th floor was the most sensitive, kind and caring person to us during our stay there. Most importantly, thank u Jade Morgan 4 seeing my daughter and me thru this ordeal with unwavering devotion and love. Bri McKnight has a neurological disorder that causes misfires between her brain and her body resulting in seizures, backouts and disassociative behaviors like absently staring into space and not hearing or seeing anything around her. While there is no known cure or particular medication 2 treat this disorder presently we will be working with one of only two neurologists in StL who specialize in this disorder. She will likely have some seizures for a long time..maybe always, but the seizures do not injure her brain. She is a very sick young lady right now, and the doctors said the road to recovery-control of the disorder will take a long time andwill be very difficult 4 her. Even tho this is not a happy diagnosis that can things will immediately get better, it is much better than we feared it might be. This old lady 2 frazzled and ready 4 bed. I love u all. Gnite.
