Hey everybody, To all mes amis a Quebec your support and kindness overwhelm me. After waking up Monday morning I felt like something wasnt right health wise. I will spare you the graphic details. Took more vitamin d3, loaded up on Zinc and even started a Z pack something that only works if its bacterial not viral but hey I had to do something. Tuesday I felt slightly better and I could still sing. So the show went on. I sang just fine until song nine and if by magic the top four notes of my range simply disappeared. We singers called them the money notes. Thankfully mon ami Jean Ravel who was there for the 100 years duet came out and sang beautifully all the parts I could not. He performs in a group called Rock Story that does many Styx covers so he knew all the words and melodies. August picked up the slack by doing Mademoiselle. The audience was so energetic, supportive and yes forgiving and behaved as though nothing was odd that Jean was standing next to me finishing the high parts. Tag team singing. Of course the most important song Suite Madame Blue is placed next to last and though many of the notes were simply gone the long mooooooore came out as if by magic. They stood and cheered, probably from relief. To everyone who attended last nights show my deepest apologies. Dennis
