Hey everyone - Thanks for all coming out tonight and welcome to Phase 1 of Build a Band! This includes you forming your bands/jams, meeting people and making some music. ***If you are an artist or if you have a band looking for people, make a post to bio to advertise your prospective project. Make sure to include: a bit about yourself what you play (instrument) how long youve been playing/skill level what you are looking for (members for your band, or if youre looking for a band) genre and, of course, anything else you want! I will make an example post tomorrow when I have some time, but dont wait on me to start building your bands! ***When you have formed a band, please let me know through a little facebook message with your members names and of course, your sick band name so I can make a list of our awesome new bands! And just so you know what the stakes are, Phase 2 includes getting your situated band practicing and jamming, and then even performing a bit around campus at various BVP events (dont worry, the BVP team will help set you guys up with the events). And finally, Phase 3 leads up to a giant showcase concert at the end of the semester, the BATTLE OF THE BUILD-A-BANDS EXTRAVAGANZA (name not finalizes yet).
