Hey everyone, As many of you may know already, my mom has been battling with Leukemia since the beginning of May. At this point in her recovery she is in need of a stem cell transplant, however, we haven’t found a donor yet. My sister, uncle and myself were not matches for her, so we have reached out to the Canadian Blood Services to help us find a match. Any one of you can be a potential match for my mom. To get tested, the person will receive a buccal (cheek) swab. This upcoming Saturday August 16th The Canadian Blood Services will be at: The Plunkett Estate (Byron) 9282 Elviage Drive London, ON N6K 4N5 This event is looking to help many people in need of a stem cell transplant.
