Hey everyone! As you all know, there are an unlimited amount of different opportunities and activities that UF has to offer, and sometimes it can be overwhelming to try to figure out which you should devote your energy to. Gatorship is one of the best (if not THE ABSOLUTE BEST) experiences that I have had during my time as an undergrad. I STRONGLY encourage all of you to apply and attend. Its a weekend full of realizations regarding diversity, stereotypes, and social justice issues. Not only is it great for helping further develop your sense of the world, but its also a wonderful opportunity for leadership building and networking. I know sometimes its difficult to break out of a group of friends that you are comfortable with and make new relationships - Gatorship really provides an opportunity for you to meet some awesome people from all different groups across campus. Applications are due October 24! JUST FOUR DAYS FROM TODAY! I hope you all seriously consider filling it out.
