Hey everyone, I am not sure how many of you watched and followed the show Growing Up Fisher on NBC but I loved it and got this message. If you all could write a letter and pass this on to friends that would be awesome !!! Hope all is well! So, yesterday I received a handful of phone calls from studio folks who told me that there is the largest nationwide groundswell that they have ever seen for renewing a TV show. In this case, Growing Up Fisher. They said that they are receiving thousands of emails, texts, and letters and petitions. They then asked if I would talk with my Midwest friends who work with the blind to get more letters sent directly to the Chairman, Robert Greenblatt, as he made the unilateral decision to cancel it. Apparently, it was a one man decision and the rest are hoping that he sees he made a mistake. Soooo....if you are interested (NO PRESSURE OR OBLIGATION) and have the time, it would be awesome if you and others would send him letters via regular mail. I was told that hard copies of letters stacked on his desk would be best. I will send you one that I was sent by the Association for the Blind. (They have started a huge campaign to save the show along with the Guide a Dog Foundation). The more letters sent to him the better. Ppl just need to include their names and address. Im reaching out to you bc you have always been such an active supporter and motivator! Maybe you could share this with Aaron given that he blogged about the show each week. Xoxo.
