Hey everyone! I know people hate these sorts of group messages but I have a little request of you. One of my very good friends Amanda and her husband Shane Schmidtt are needing a little help. On June 9th of last year, their son Aiden was born. He was born with a condition called CDH, where the diaphragm doesnt form properly. This causes the organs to all be pushed up into the chest cavity. As a result, he has been in the hospital since his birth having multiple surgeries, including open heart surgery to fix his CO arc (a heart condition), and pulmonary hypertension. Recently there was talk of Aiden going home for the first time, until his health took a turn for the worst. He has begun showing early signs of heart failure. However, Aiden is no longer a candidate for a heart transplant, as his heart rate is at an alarming 217 and a fever of 102, making him too high risk for the surgery. As a result, my friends are asking help raising money to help pay his medical as well as funeral costs. This is a huge loss as Aiden is only 14 months old. Their goal is to raise a total of 10,000$ so as to lift some stress off of their shoulders during this difficult time. If anyone has any money they can donate, it would be a huge help no matter how big or small the amount and I know it would mean a lot for Aiden and his family. Thanks everyone!
