Hey everyone! I wrote a while back, but Id like to re-introduce myself. My name is David Parkinson, and Im a 30 year old American riding my motorcycle some 60.000km from the States down to Tierra del Fuego Argentina and now back up through Paraguay, Brazil, And Venezuala. Next week sometime, Ill arrive in Asuncion and my plan is to stay 2-4 months. I will be looking for a place to stay (or rent), to meet other expats and folks living in Asuncion, and a place to repair my motorcycle So.... 1) If you know of an affordable place to stay or rent with good Internet please contact me (I work online) with motorcycle parking available starting in June, please let me know. I am looking for something like a room in a shared house/apartment or a simple 1 bedroom spot. 2) If youd like to meet up to play basketball, rock climb, play tennis, or really any other sport... or even have a beer, please contact me. 3) If you know a trsuted motorcycle mechanic I will need to do some engine work on my Suzuki V-Strom 650. Likely Ill need to replace the timing chain in each valve and maybe more. 4) Are cellular phones relatively affordable to buy in Asuncion?
