Hey everyone, Id like to welcome Tony (Tunza) to the HSC Admin group. He has been around for a few weeks providing great information and awareness in comments and posts to page. Tony writes I took weather as a hobby after the great Brisbane Hail Storm 18 January 1985. That day I was really scared as my parents house was badly damaged from cricket ball size hail stone; in fact still clearly remembered that hail fell first and then the rain and winds just smashed us. So I thought hate been scared therefore decided to read up and learn more about the weather etc. Happily Married with 4 kids and now teach them about the weather especially storm safety e.g. dangers of lightning. I run a business for myself doing plumbing consultancy after doing my plumbing apprenticeship, then working on commercial projects and successfully completed Diploma of Engineering Construction & Hydraulics. With the knowledge and experience I gained I decided to provide my services in regional areas of Queensland which I really enjoy and looking around the countryside. I love the storms however hate seeing damage that unfortunately mother nature can do. So I like to provide awareness about personal safety with thunderstorms and other significant weather events. Its a pleasure to be one of the HSC team as it is rewarding. Please make him feel welcome, he is a good friend and top bloke with a huge amount of passion who provides a generous community service. ~ Jeff Higgins ~
