Hey everyone! Im relatively new here, and I thought Id share my fur babies with you all. The big one in the back is Moonlight. She is 4 years old and I have had her since she was about 2.5 weeks or so. I bottle fed her, weaned her, trained her, etc. She is a loving little girl but she has some anxiety problems (my ex bf whose idea it was to get her had these same issues & I think there was some transference there)... thankfully Ive finally found a good vet so we can address that :). She is adjusting to her new home as well as her new brother, and all things considered, she is doing alright. She isnt interested in playing with her little brother or cuddling him and she will growl and hiss if he gets too close (she is also not really socialized with other cats due to how early we rescued her and so she is somewhat afraid of the kitten) but she will now tolerate him hanging near her like this, so thats good! In the front is little Tiberius, named after James T. Kirk, he is about 6 weeks old now. I heard him crying while out for a walk one night and finally found him stuck in the back side of a car wheel, where the axle meets the wheel and the brake fluid pipes. Took about an hour to get him out; he would have been toast if he had not gotten out before the driver rode away in the morning. This was about 3ish weeks ago. He was half starved, filthy and scared, so I took him in, cleaned him up, fed him and took him to the vet. He grew attached to me quickly and about a week later, Moonlight came home from her 4 month stay at grandmas (my moms) house (I was living somewhere where I could not have a cat). He is rambunctious, adventurous and curious about his big sister and desperately wants to play with her, but she isnt ready yet. I am glad they are able to hang out like this even if she doesnt want to be friends yet... All things in due time! They are both a lot of work but I love them to bits, they make my life so much more wonderful.
