Hey everyone! Ive had some serious inquiries on what PIYO is based on my recent post on my upcoming PIYO after the PIE fitness challenge. It is neither yoga or pilates. It is named PIYO because when Chalene Johnson created it, it was inspired by the fact she didnt like holding poses in yoga or pilates knowing the flexibility and core of both these disciplines is something we need in order to be better in all our workouts. PIYO is constant movement with some yoga and pilates poses so you burn calories without jumping around and you sculpt your body with body weight. I AM SO ADDICTED TO PIYO if you couldnt tell from all my posts that I teach it classroom style on Thursday nights! If you are interested in my at home PIYO challenge starting December 1st, you need to act fast so you can be ready to go! Our 7 day preThanksgiving clean eating starts this Monday.
