Recently, the GANS board is actively trying to raise money and fundraising for our upcoming COSL (Council of Student Leaders) & for the NSNA Convention that will be held in Phoenix, Arizona in the spring. With the holiday season being right at our door, Amazon has a great fundraising sponsorship program for non-profit organizations. It is called:smile.amazon This holiday season while you are doing your online Christmas shopping please keep us in mind. Amazon Smile is the same site as amazon but it is specifically designed and setup for organization sponsorship. By going to smile.amazon you have the option of choosing which non-profit organization you would like Amazon to give a percentage of the sales they make from your purchases directly to that organization. All you have to do is: 1. visit smile.amazon 2. search for Georgia Association of Nursing Students 3. select the Georgia Association of Nursing Students as your non-profit organization and BOOM! Amazon automatically will donate a percentage of their profits in each sale that you make with them. It does NOT change or increase the price for you as the shopper and it DOES still give you full range on all of your usual specials/deals/discounts. This is a marvelous way that you can help during your holiday shopping season!
