Hey everyone! This post is mainly for friends and family living in the DFW area, so everyone else can keep on scrolling if youd like :-). Kristin and I are looking at hosting a Financial Peace University class at our home in the next few months (most likely January). FPU is a class designed to help you get out of debt, save money and actually get your financial life in order. Its by Dave Ramsey and Kristin and I discovered it back somewhere around 2008. Trust me, this is not some type of thing where I sign you up beneath me and try to sell you stuff. I wont earn a penny from this. In fact, it will cost me money to host the class! Its just something that we truly believe in and now that we are in the position to do it, we want to pass it on to others. You can do it on your own or as part of a group but weve done it on our own AND as part of 2 different groups over the years because its always good to refocus from time to time. Since 2008 weve paid off all our credit cards, medical bills, cars, etc and have just recently built up an entire years worth of an emergency fund. Im not saying this to brag at all, but to hopefully show that this program is incredibly powerful and if you follow it, you will be amazed at how much you can take control over your finances.
