Hey everyone! To follow Kathleens tradition: My primrary field is mathematics, but longer than my interest for mathematics existed I was already deeply interested in artificial intelligence and its current limitations, which brought me directly into CogSci. Since April 2014, I am working with Pei Wang on the Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System. We try to identify rules of thought and cognitive mechanisms, and implement them into a computer system, an so called artificial general intelligence system. The following video explains the system roughly and demonstrates some things it is capable of.
