Hey everyone as you all know by now by all the postings our strong beautiful niece Hollie got her call for her New Lungs on Thursday January 22nd, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. TYD they packed her up from St. Mikes in about 15 minutes and had her at Toronto General in no time. This has been a whirlwind of a couple days for the family but oh so worth it!!!!!! . She is remarkable, they took her down to O.R. and her surgery started at 11:15 a.m. on January 23rd , 2015, a beautiful day with the sun shining just like Hollie likes it, TYD!!!!!!! Hollies new Gift of Life!!!!!! began her journey that she and all of us had been waiting for. After 7 hours of surgery with New Lungs Hollie came in to Intensive Care , with everyone there with her she progressed remarkably over the next few hours as we took turns going in to see her . She knew we were all there, by about 11:00 last night and still groggy she was doing the thumbs up . TYD, TYD!!!!!!!!!!!! . This Gift of Life TYD!!!!! you have given Hollie is the best gift !!!!!!!!!!! TYD!!!!!!! All the prayers and support you have given her and know will continue to come is incredible. Our prayers are with the Donors family at this difficult time TYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . TYD!!!!!!! TYD!!!!!!!!!! I will continue to give you more updates as Hollie progresses. GO HOLLIE GO!!!!!!!!!!!! TYD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Breathe!!!!!!
