Hey everyone, hope all is going well back in VA Beach. Interesting news: The DOD has a cool program where deployed troops of all branches can buy brand new cars from the factory and below MSRP with no middle man dealership. I played with the notion of getting a fully equipped 2014 5.0 for $36k (and Im talking FULLY equipped), but had to pass because Im still waiting on the results of my advancement exam and because my wife and I need a more fuel efficiant car. So Im probably going to go with a Focas or Fusion, but will still have to wait till after May on getting it. Im also hoping I may be able to convince my wife to get the new 2015 Mustang Turbo-4 cylinder (I know it sounds crazy, but its a REALLY nice car). On a related topic, General Motors apparently pulled out of this program shortly after we decided to go into Iraq. The 411 about this pull-out is that they didnt support what the military was doing in Iraq, so therefore they refused to support the the program for selling new cars to our deployed troops. This makes another reason why Im pretty much a Ford ONLY person now.
