Hey everyone...polite notice! Please dont ask me to price match or beat other cake makers. My quotes are based on the complexity of the cake, the ingredients, the time it will take, any modelling/sugar flower work, cost of hidden extras like boards,boxes,support structures,specific tools or cutters that may be needed, fuel costs etc. I like to think I dont overcharge, but bear in mind that I do need and deserve a wage, even if it is a pittance! How other cake makers cost up their quotes is their business but I do also have the taxman to pay and a whole host of business expenditure like public liability etc. I wouldnt go into debenhams and offer them £30 for a £60 pair of shoes...So, in the politest way I can think of...my quotes are what they are and Im not going to haggle Im afraid ...hope I dont offend anyone but it needed to be said.
