Hey everyone, sorry its been a while since weve posted on Bryces page. We are still living every day in disbelief that Bryce is no longer here with us. However, we are beginning to do whats been placed on our hearts and that is helping other local families going through this nightmare. We unfortunately have a wealth of knowledge and been there experiences that we are finding is beneficial to other families. Its been difficult visiting the hospital where Bryce took his last breath but the reward of hearing a brief meeting with a family was beneficial made the pain going back worth it. We come to you today about a family fighting to do all they can to find a treatment to save their sons life. Six year old Jake has been fighting neuroblastoma for 2 years and the local doctors in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth have done all they can do. Theyre taking the fight to New York in a few weeks to try an experimental treatment, theres just not many options left at this point. First and foremost, were asking for prayer for Jake and the Hickford family. Second were asking if as many as possible can help this family financially with the expenses theyre going to face traveling to and from New York. Many of these flights will be short notice and we all know how expensive that can be. Anything will help, every dollar adds up and is a dollar they dont have to worry about coming up with. Not to mention, there are 4 other Hickford kiddos at home to care for. Please support in any way you can, and please keep Jake in your prayers. Below is an address you can mail checks or money orders to. You can also go to Jake page Jakes Journey - Making Cancer Extinct. As always, thank you for all the support and prayers and for anything you can do to help Jake. Take care.
