Hey folks, I usually keep to myself, especially when it comes to issues involving voting…but here’s something so awesome I feel it’s worth voting for! While I normally try to contain my impulses of giddy fanboyness, this one really got my attention. I haven’t really been following LEGO stuff until recently, with their new video games, movies and superhero cartoons, and this one would be a great extension to that stuff. If you’re not aware, LEGO runs a website called LEGO Ideas where fans can submit photos and mock ups of ideas for future LEGO sets. It’s free for users to vote, and the most popular ones actually get made into new LEGO sets. Again, this is not normally something I would take the time to be publicly active in, but then this fan by the name of sam.gras came along and submitted an idea of super awesomeness proportions. It needs to get made. Follow the link and feast your eyes on this; he or she has submitted a detailed super awesome build of the Batmobile from the 1966 Batman Television show starring Adam West. The timing could not be better; the 50th Anniversary of the show is upon us, and who wouldnt want at least one of these awesome nostalgic pieces to show off? His build is authentic the look of the show. The proposed set would come with tons of accessories including era accurate LEGO figures of Batman, Robin and the Joker!
