Hey folks It seems we are losing friends and colleagues every week at the moment and the loss of Kal this week has rocked me to my core. I know several kind hearted and lovely people have been talking about doing a collection to help the families or send a child on dream flight etc., all great ideas and if thats what is done I will support them. My spin on this((no offence meant in wording ) is couldnt we try and collect enough money to raise money to have a monument built and a plaque with our passed ones names etched on it? It could be then placed somewhere where we and family could be allowed to pass our respects., say a few words ? Not sure where geographically this would be feasible. , I know there are benches at Cranebank but feel its quite a impersonal spot with lots of giggling people walking through without realising its meaning, it would need to be somewhere the families could also have access as well if they should so desire so Airside/restricted access a no go. We have many very talented artists in the crew community so we could ensure that the plaque would look exactly as we would desire along with the families and I am happy to help set the ball rolling with help. Let me know what you guys think and send your ideas
