Hey folks sorry to say the Ghost Draft of Modern Masters will not be happening tonight nor will the event tomorrow night, however to the good news is we will be hosting three events this Friday to make up for it. The events will be our normal 4pm FNM (£3 entry) a Sealed event at 6:50pm (£20 entry) and our second FNM at 7:10pm (£3 entry). Other interesting news is I am currently in talks to move the shop but I would like your feedback on a few things before anything becomes concrete: Would a more open larger gaming space be more appealing? Would the shop being upstairs rather than the ground floor put any of you off? Although not moving closer to town would concessions on larger events make it a bit more appealing/affordable to turn up weekly? (so say you turn up to 10 FNMs out of the 24 FNMs that happen in the 3month period between prereleases you would get the next prerelease at a discounted rate, making it more affordable to get buses etc for those of you who aren’t normally up this end of town) Would weekly Modern, Standard and Commander Tournaments be something you guys would want to see? What about a monthly Legacy League along with monthly Pauper, Block and Draft events? Would a projector and the ability to watch live streamed Magic events as a community be something that you guys would be interested in or is that more a chill out in the comfort of your own home thing? What are your thoughts on community night once a month where people can bring in their own food and just hang out and play casual games of Magic (and other games)? And finally things that I would be getting anyway: Internet New tables A website that will have a whole host of information including handy lists off all of our upcoming events, league tables and special offers More CCG games and supplies for CCGs in general as well as better stock of Magic products Well hopefully that is all food for thought, please let me know what you think/ any ideas about what we can do to make sure you have a great gaming experience at the shop :) Kind regards Chris
