Great professional opportunity (I tried to attach the pdf, but seems I couldnt Here is a copy and paste): GRANTS DIRECTOR (10248) Approved Date: July 26, 2013 ICPA Level: 3 Job Code: 10248 FLSA : Exempt JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, independently manages the overall performance of the Consolidated Grants Unit for ANTHC, insuring continuity of services throughout the organization, alliance between grant requests and strategic priorities, and compliance with conditions of award. The following duties are intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Oversees and directs all ANTHC grant activities, to include identification of needs, alignment with strategic priorities, coordination of pre-approvals and grant acquisition, coordination of grants management systems and activities, financial and programmatic reporting, closeout and compliance. Responds to strategic planning priorities identified by the ANTHC Board of Directors (BOD) and the Consortium Executive Team (CET). As required but at least annually, facilitates grants strategy planning sessions for the CET. Works individually and collectively with CET to identify emerging needs for grant funding. Insure other needs for division and departmental grants planning are met. Develops, monitors and reports key departmental metrics. Contributes to and reports on assigned division and organizational metrics. Serves on ANTHC Strategic Driver Committees and work groups, as required. Establishes and maintains relationships and key communications with core funding partners. Serves as initial and primary organizational contact for grant agency program reviews and audits. Directs implementation and use of the Revenue Reporting Information Tracking System (RRITS),, GrantTrack, and/or Enterprise Resource System grants management module. Implements internal processes sufficient to insure awareness of grants management responsibilities among all relevant ANTHC staff members. Insures responsiveness to identified needs for skills development and educational trainings related to grants writing, management and grants compliance for ANTHC staff. Liaise with ANTHC Legal & Intergovernmental Affairs (LIGA) to insure proper preparation of Federal and State funding requests. Tracks ANTHC capital requests to State of Alaska Legislature, and serves as the primary coordinator of these efforts among ANTHC representatives. Liaise with ANTHC Corporate Compliance to insure ANTHC compliance with conditions of award. Liaise with ANTHC Contracting for efficient processing of grants-related agreements. Provides leadership, direction and guidance on professional responsibilities and technical skills. Develops goals and priorities and assigns projects and tasks, and supports staff activities and accomplishments. Develops staff skills and training plans. Counsels, trains and coaches assigned staff. Meets regularly with assigned staff to resolve workload and technical issues. Conducts performance evaluations and implements corrective actions. Provides technical support to the Alaska Tribal Health System on matters related to grants management. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships. Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications. MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION A Master’s Degree in finance, business, public administration, public health or related field. Progressively responsible professional/exempt work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION Non-supervisory - Ten (10) years of successful grant writing, grant management and grant compliance experience in a non-profit setting, preferably with experience in rural Alaska or the Alaska Tribal Health System. Supervisory – Five (5) years of experience in a management position supervising professional and other employees in an integrated work team. GRANTS DIRECTOR Page 3 of 3 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. Travel may be required. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
