Hey friends... Annies is hiring some part time help for the fall. Must be available holidays and weekends. I will happily work around a set schedule for school (school doesnt happen on holidays and weekends mostly). Must be dependable, over 18, good with animals (and by good I mean, animals are animals, and animals are not children... so you must know how to treat animals with respect, but not treat them like children. Its not the same... really it isnt), physically able and ready to work with dogs all day, and reliable transportation (your aunt that has agreed to take you back and forth to work is not generally reliable). Annies does a demeanor test on all new employees, it is a volunteer day to see if you will actually like working with the animals. We also evaluate you on things like, animal aptitude, mop handling skills, poop bag creativity, and dry erase board drawing skills. If you pass our demeanor test then we will put you on the schedule (as an employee/paid employee) and after you have been here for 1 month with no issues, then we will pay you a bonus for that first day. Its a fun and rewarding job, that can also be challenging and demanding. It is an excellent opportunity to work in the animal care industry, to learn basic dog handling skills, and to grow with a small successful business that is dedicated to making Norman an excellent place for dogs to live.
