Hey friends! Ive been thinking a lot about the Church lately. There is so much good, but also so much hurt there. I have also been dwelling on institutionalism, religion & tradition vs relationship, as well as legalism. I think all of us battle keeping God real versus letting Him become a set of rules and/or behaviors. All this to say, dont be afraid to question authority and study Gods word on your own. Dont just take your pastors or your friends or your denominations words at face value. Dig deep in your own time. Theres so much to learn. There are so many misconceptions floating around. God want us to know Him, and to know truth. He wants to have an intimate connection with each of us. What is standing in the way of that in your life? Proverbs 4:6-7 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
