Hey gang! words mean things and when we are sharing, marketing - TopicsExpress

Hey gang! words mean things and when we are sharing, marketing and posting her on facebook we can have some positive fun with it. When posting or responding to show and event invites, I avoid words like Wont & Cant. They may be factual regarding my ability to attend, but they also dont belong near a public invitation. Here are things to do online to help fertilize the efforts of our friends: If you are unable to go, you can still be maybe, and like & SHARE the event a few times on your wall, in direct messages, or across your social media and real life peeps. Your recommendation is a powerful thing. As a full-time performer Im often unable to go to shows because Im performing simultaneously. I take these occasions to promote others very specifically, and Ill throw in my own gig info. This makes us all look bigger, more confident, and shows a spirit of community to the larger marketplace. Post compliments, or remark on some of their other recent happenings, song releases, shows, pics, etc... If you are unable to go, avoid posting: I cant go, We wont make it. Rather simply say Youll make it to one of the next shows and youll tell your friends about this one. Or say you wish you could go but youre doing another show. Try, wish, hope, for sure, etc... are all just dandy. The words we see and hear program us and give us permission, its helpful to end with a positive call to action aimed at the public online audience. Just some thoughts on keeping our online efforts purposeful and hopefully producing decent results. Im certain whenever we network a bit for each other it will grow all of our audiences. Thats a good thing!
