Hey guys, Following my consultation with Eric, I would like to suggest that I host the next academic salon in Athens, a city that despite the crisis is as vibrant as ever. We would go see the acropolis, take a stroll around old markets, enjoy a cocktail on my terrace (picture below) and ofcourse exchange thoughts with my Athenian friends. It would also be a great opportunity to have a debate about the European debt crisis and its implications or similar issues. In case you all agree I would set up a poll to determine the date, which I suggest could be around early January. On this note, I would also like to raise awareness for the crowdfunding campaign of Vouliwatch, a NGO that I started together with others to promote transparency, accountability and citizen participation in Greek politics.
