Hey, guys. I found our Earth prayer from last semester. Here are the prayers we wrote as a group Earth Prayers 2013 In Praise of Water We raise our spirits in praise to you, Beloved Water You are the favor of the Goddess, her real presence in our midst You flow from the clouds to the sea to the rivers to the streams We praise you for quenching the thirst of our Land We praise you for quenching the thirst of our Bodies We praise you for life and for love. You are the beautiful lace patterns on the windows of our souls We praise you for the silence of frost, gently touching our Land We praise you for the silence of ice, granting rest to our Bodies We praise you for comfort and for peace. You are the mist that beckons us deeper into the womb of mystery We praise you for the slow shaping of the stones of our Land We praise you for the beauty of fragile glass, well worn like our Bodies We praise you for patience and for change. We raise our spirits in praise to you, Beloved Water You are the favor of the Goddess, her real presence in our midst. Moments of Presence and Pleasure, the Rituals of the Earth We see your face above us, and we are free As the moon and her changing light In the glances of the birds and their patterns of flight We hear your voice, and we are driven to sing Music as the grass sways In guidance through the wolf’s ways We feel your body, and we feel our own desire Island between the trees Mountains to climb, forests to weave We scent your power, and we revel Lightning and thunder and perfect spider web Flowers grow, bloom and die, beautiful in the ebb We taste the salts of memory, and we respond White Mountains, Red Skull, Haystack Flow of life and death, of sustenance, of lack Written by the Pagan Student Association of the University of Southern Maine and some friends, 2013
