Hey guys! I have a new Christmas movie review today - Arthur Christmas by Sarah Smith and Barry Cook. This animation movie is the best Christmas one Ive watched so far. It can be so much fun for anyone - personally, I absolutely loved it! If youre reading this and youre feeling very festive, you should watch it too. The film is about the magic of Christmas and what is behind it. Arthur is the son of the current Santa Claus who is very lazy and cant manage his role very well; but thanks to Steve and the elves all gifts can be delivered. All except one - and thats when Arthur will come and help. The visual effects of Arthur Christmas are supreme. The film is not in 3D but still looks amazing. Its very colourful and real: the characters look like real people and arent inhumanly beautiful or with strikingly regular features. The setting is realistic as well, showing different parts of the world including England, Mexico, Cuba, Canada just like they look today! (I could recognise the English bins!! haha). Also, the characters are so much fun. They are very ironical and self-conscious and make witty jokes all the time. Perhaps grandfather Christmas is the most clever character. Arthur is funny as well - he is very naïve and sweet but inspiring for his honesty and goodness. This review was so informal and I just feel like a child again. This is what I like the most about cartoons. I hope you enjoyed it. A. :)
