Hey guys, I just want to give a recommendation about Barbell club training and CrossFit training. Every week for the past 6 weeks several of you have done a CrossFit session then the Barbell session straight after. As much as I love the enthusiasm and desire for working hard, and appreciated that some of you have unlimited membership access, I would not recommend this approach of back to back sessions. The barbell program and the dynamic nature of the lifts at the percentages used will be most beneficial if you can achieve the required level of intensity both physically and mentally during the session. This is not possible if you have ‘redlined’ yourself in the previous CrossFit session. If you want to improve your technique and your maximal Olympic lifts, you need to respect the barbell and respect the program. There are many pitfalls if you don’t but there are many peaks of achievements if you do. Enjoy the journey and take in the scenary. Thanks for your attention TVC
