Hey guys! Just a reminder for those of you who may not have checked Cecil, or your EC Mail: Dear Class, • This lab will be run as a test • No unnecessary talking and no collaboration. Questions asked of demonstrators or supervisor will incur a point penalty. • You are only allowed to keep the lab manual with you in the lab, provided you dont have notes written on it. These will be checked prior to the start of the lab • Lecture notes are NOT allowed • Bring to Lab 5: Aldol Reaction report pages with the pre-lab information filled in (Balanced chemical equation, table of reagents and theoretical yield of product, only). • Submit your lab report AND the mechanism based question (provided in the lab) at the end of the lab session.
