ORIGINAL YOUTUBE DESCRIPTION: This is the third song I have danced to by Sam Smith, or really fifth if you count the freestyle pieces, but I love Sam Smith and his work so much. When I first found out about his music, my life completely was read like a book through his music. And so was my style of dance. This dance comes from deep within my heart. From all the deep depression all thrown into one video. Basically, the concept of this piece is the emptiness inside or the hole that no one else can fill other than that one person, you know in life that can complete that hole. This piece tells the story of loosing a loved one, or someone that just means the world to you. Like this is the person who has completely changed your life, who has created an impact and without this person, your life would be completely different. Two different people have impacted my life. One being the loss of a family member, and the other just relationships. Sometimes people make mistakes, some mistakes can just change your life for the best, and make you the happiest person alive. But then there are those mistakes that no one wants to have but ends up doing so without knowing. I have had both experiences with this one person and because of that, my life is just completely different, deny this emptiness, this hole Im inside. Those lyrics spoke to me, you have to deny those bad mistakes, no matter how much it haunts you in the past, and get out of the hole your in and make yourself happy again, either moving on from the situation or coming back to make this better, no matter what, just keep moving up, and escape from the hole and enter a world of happiness. Production of this video, the video starts off as a dark moody state of mind, the first scene I recorded, it was literally how it happened, I didnt even have to act anything out but just sit there, think of everything Ive done to get to this point in life and its just a dark room, a camera in my face and thunder and rain going on in the background. The dance is my escape, this is my way of getting out of the hole. And the credits or ending is more of a happier state, not as moody but more lit than the first scene, representing my escape into happiness, which is the future. This concept can be confusing but really simple if you think about it. But thanks to Sam Smith for creating such an amazing album, because without this album I would not know how to express my concepts of depression. I promise you there will be different but yet newer concepts from me soon. I hope you all enjoyed and I hope this ends up being one of my best works of art, story wise, dance wise and production wise.
