Hey guys, This week, we will not be meeting. Our officers are intently working on the officer applications so expect them to come soon! Some good news. Through great luck, we have been given the opportunity to work with the founder of Code for Fun, a nonprofit organization dedicated spreading the reach of coding (codeforfun/). This will be a service learning event teaching children the basics of programming. One of these events is on December 13, 2014. In this event we will be running the Hour of Code. The other two start on December 22-24 and December 30- Jan 2 and are involved in teaching children how to program using Scratch (programming language created by MIT for children). Both of these events will be happening at the Fremont Main Library. Not only will this be a rewarding experience, you can earn up to 20 hours! This an great way to earn a lot of hours as well as contribute to a meaningful cause!
