Hey guys and gals!! So, as we discussed at last weeks meeting, this Friday we will be organizing what were doing for Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Nov 20th and also for World Aids Day on Dec 1rst! If you werent here last Friday no worries, well catch you up! 😊 Here are some items that we need for Friday! 1) old jars/containers that can be used for collecting money 2) red ribbon/rainbow ribbon 3) safety pins 4) scissors 5) creative minds!!!! Below I have posted a list of names we will write on our hands/arms for TDOR. These are people we will recognize and remember on November 20th who have passed away due to transgender hate crimes in 2014 alone. Its a painful list to come to terms with but also one filled with hope as groups like us all over the world work to shorten that list every year.
