Hey guys first i want to thank everyone for the preorders on the Moonlight and interest in the light. There has been a lot of questions about the the curve of the light and how and why it works. I wanted to explain a little further about the past couple years of research and working with multidirectional lighting. We wanted to make the pdr light better in general and more customizable for pdr techs. Why is our light curved? Ill start by saying dents are round so are lights are round. By using a curved light to do a dent no matter how you you look at the dent your always straight on to the light. With a straight light, as soon as you try to cross check without moving it you are no longer parallel with the light , which causes miss pushes which causes a dent to not come up even, reason why people either move there lights to a different angle or use two lights. Even with two lights you still only get two angles of true parallel lighting, with the curve you get 180 angles of true parallel lighting. Once again however you look at the dent you get 180% view of parallel light. This is why we went to the curve on our light.We know for obvious reasons the curve makes its more effecient. Whats up with the Durability, longevity , glued in Leds, broken switches , flickering lights , having send your light in to get fixed or spending hours regluing and soldering new leds in ? We did away with all these problems . We made a 12 track system where you can easily interchange leds at anytime , wether you want to try a new color or just add more strips you can customize this anyway you want. We also put machined switches good for over 200,000 pushes and made a structure out of bulletproof glass to ensure long lasting life. Everything is interchangeable and totally customizable .
